Session VIII Outline: MS SharePoint - Collaboration App

In this course you will learn the essential skills you need to work with SharePoint Online. The course covers essential features such as log in, navigation, use of team and communication sites, editing and coauthoring documents, working with lists, integration with Microsoft 365, and document storage. In Session 1 you will begin with basics like logging in and using the start page, then jumps into navigation, permissions, editing your profile, searching in SharePoint Online, posting news, and much more. You will walk through using the document library in SharePoint Online, as well as opening, editing, and saving a document. You'll see how to manage documents, view versions, share files, and more. Finallly, you'll learn about using list apps in SharePoint, and how to integrate SharePoint Online with Teams and Outlook.

Students need to complete the following Montgomery College courses or have equivalent experience.

ITI 499 - Mastering Windows Fundamentals or equivalent experience. (12 hrs)
